The Results

The second drawing of the SO45 Online Community Giving Lottery took place at David Morris’s Fountain Court Quiz on January 29th. Over 100 people were there to witness the draw.

The cash winner, Deb Ingram, from Claire Blay’s Zumba Group and January’s local good cause the Hythe & Waterside Dementia Friendly Group both received a cheque for £911.

Lottery organisers SO45 Online, reported that there were many more people buying a ticket this month compared to the inaugural draw in December.

Thanks to everyone that bought a ticket and helped to promote this great community project.

Tickets are just £2 with 50% of ticket sales going to a cash winner and 50% going to a local good cause.

February’s Draw – Local Good Cause Announced

The February tickets are on sale now, and the draw is on the 25th at a place to be confirmed. February’s local good cause are the Lymington & New Forest Multiple Sclerosis Society for the explicit benefit of its SO45 members.

The monies raised from ticket sales this month will help fund fitness classes for local MS sufferers and their carers and help to pay for transport to Lymington for their group therapy sessions.
